Family Portraits

Okay... so it has been a REALLY long time since we have done professional portraits for us and the kids, and now I remember why. It takes 2 HOURS! But the end results were amazing (not that I am biased or anything). Most of what we did was for Mackenzie but the kids had fun getting their own pictures done as well, me- not so much but who does. Enjoy!

Introducing....

Introducing Mackenzie Sophia Rothman! Well I can now join the ranks of women who give birth without meds. Not my choice, mind you. I was induced at 8 in the morning and she was born at 2:52 p.m. 8 pounds 5 ounces, and 20.5 inches long. She is an absolutely amazing baby!

Texas Weather

It was so nice 2 weeks ago, you know before all the ice, we had a picnic outside in January with the kids. They beg to do it again and again now.

Funny Stuff

Think of stretch marks as pregnancy service stripes.

Gaylord's ICE

Last week Randall calls me from work and says, "Would you mind if I took Austin out for just some boy time." I am naturally thinking "Are you crazy? Of course I don't mind!" Now, I love both my children but every mother relishes the sweet moments when there's just one of them, especially the older, slightly less stressful one. He tells me on his way home that he wants to take him to see ICE. Every year they make 1 million pounds of ice into some really cool display. I had no desire to freeze to death, but to each his own I guess. They had a blast going to Chuck E Cheese afterwards and he slept with a smile on his face that night.

Jenna's Thanksgiving Program

Jenna did her first Thanksgiving performance at school before the break. It was so cute. They all were dressed as Pilgrims and Indians.
