Cinderella

Last night we decided to have a one on one night with Jenna. We took her to go see Cinderella at Casa Manana theatre. We dressed up and went out to dinner after wards. She was so excited to go, she talked about it for days. We had such a great time we have decided to take Austin to go see Peter Pan there in a few weeks!

Easter Morning

On the morning of Easter, it was should we say...stressful? What should have been a perfectly pleasant morning turned into a battle of "No, you may not have any more candy, and quit playing with all the jelly beans so they don't get stuck in the carpet." By the time it was time to get ready for church, which starts at 10:30, so not too late, we were all tired and cranky. Austin had the hardest time, putting on his suit and getting out of his pajamas.

Sugar Cone Bird Feeders

In my every effort to find something to do with the kids that will both be fun, educational and NOT take too much time or who are we kidding effort. I thought since the birds have returned, why not make bird feeders? Well it turned out harder than I thought because I couldn't find pine cones. Plan B was the internet to find an alternative. Sugar Cones! It worked like a charm and the squirrels have carried off two of the four so far!

Easter Morning

Egg Dying

This year I decided to be bold and try egg dying. It wasn't something we ever did as kids but always wanted to. Every year I have grand ideas of what I am going to accomplish, always going above and beyond what I have time and ultimately the patience for. But it ended up going fine and the eggs went by way too fast. But the kids had a blast and keep requesting that we do it again.
