This is why I love Sunday's

We have church on Sunday's at the most awkward time of the day, 10:30 to 1:30, right at the peak lunch and nap time. Well when we finally get home and changed and then fed its closer to 2:30. Austin won't take a nap in his bed but will apparently sleep on the couch with his daddy. If you know Austin he is not one to willingly do much of anything...daddy is apparently magic. This is why I love Sunday afternoons!

Baby update

So, for those of you that didn't know (not sure how, I'm huge) we are having another baby! And after some confusion with the first ultrasound it's not a boy, it's a GIRL!!! We could not be more excited.

I took Austin to the pond to feed the ducks by our Town Hall. He loved it so much that we wanted to take one of them home.

School

Jenna had her first day of school last week and it was eventful to say the least. We got home from VA at 11pm the night before and we were all pretty tired the next morning. We got her up and she was so excited. I can't believe that I have a child old enough to attend school, all day kindergarten. She loves it so far though, so we'll see.

We had a blast for a week enjoying ourselves at the beach, Chuck E. Cheese's with Nana and Gpa Max, and loungin around! We had a combined birthday party for Ryan, April, and Randall which was lots of fun.

Jenna was talking to me the other day, not sure what about, but I stopped her and asked: Jenna you sure like to talk, why do you talk so much?
Her response was: Because mommy, Heavenly Father made me that way so that I could ask lots of interesting questions!
Not sure what else to say to that other than just chuckle to myself and tell her "Yes, that's correct."

Responsibilities

We decided that it was time for the kids to have some responsibilities around the house other than their toys. Jenna's was the fish until it died, and Austin is to make sure that Missy has food in her bowl. Usually he just fills her bowl with a blue cup that's in the food but last night was a little different. He decided to use a play spoon to fill up her bowl, needless to say it took a little while longer. Guess I should be grateful he even did it at all!
