First Tooth

While Randall and I were at the movies last night, I get this crazy text message from my mom saying, " Jenna's tooth came out. She cried a little bit but all is well." It's a milestone that every child looks forward to and every mother dreads. It means that their child is growing up, and I wasn't there to see it. I guess I am glad, I hated having my teeth pulled and the thought of pulling Jenna's makes me feel sick. But she is super excited to have lost her first tooth.

More birthday from Nana and Gpa Max!

Jenna's ballet

Jenna at her ballet studio with an Alice and Wonderland theme with chairs on the ceiling, and of course her recital costume that she just loves to dance around in. Tune in for more pics next week after her recital.

Happy Birthday Austin

Austin turned 3 this week. It was a bitter sweet day that went by way too fast. It's days like these when you realize just how quickly time passes and just how much a wonderful reminder it is to enjoy life's little moments.

Peter Pan

Since we had taken Jenna to see Cinderella, we took Austin by himself to see Peter Pan. He didn't enjoy it as much as Jenna did but said he had fun anyway. I think it will be a while before we take him again.

Sea World

A couple of weeks ago we decided to take an impromptu trip to San Antonio. Randall had never been and we thought it would be fun for the kids to go to Sea World. We got up at 4 and on the road by 5 in the morning. Got there just in time for the park to open. Went back Sunday before heading back home. When we got home at around 10 pm we were bushed but it was just the break we needed.

Cinderella

Last night we decided to have a one on one night with Jenna. We took her to go see Cinderella at Casa Manana theatre. We dressed up and went out to dinner after wards. She was so excited to go, she talked about it for days. We had such a great time we have decided to take Austin to go see Peter Pan there in a few weeks!

Jenna getting their autograph. You weren't allowed to stop to take a picture so we did the best we could.

Easter Morning

On the morning of Easter, it was should we say...stressful? What should have been a perfectly pleasant morning turned into a battle of "No, you may not have any more candy, and quit playing with all the jelly beans so they don't get stuck in the carpet." By the time it was time to get ready for church, which starts at 10:30, so not too late, we were all tired and cranky. Austin had the hardest time, putting on his suit and getting out of his pajamas.

Sugar Cone Bird Feeders

In my every effort to find something to do with the kids that will both be fun, educational and NOT take too much time or who are we kidding effort. I thought since the birds have returned, why not make bird feeders? Well it turned out harder than I thought because I couldn't find pine cones. Plan B was the internet to find an alternative. Sugar Cones! It worked like a charm and the squirrels have carried off two of the four so far!
