Texas Snow AGAIN!!!

This morning, we woke up and there was about an inch of snow outside, by the time we had eaten breakfast there was 4-5 inches and kept on going. By the time it stopped we measured 7-8 inches of snow. We went outside twice to play in it. Austin was a tad hesitant but had fun throwing snow at Jenna and Randall none the less. I even got Jenna to eat a little bit of untouched fresh snow!

Ballet Class

This month we decided it was time to enroll Jenna in ballet, and for those of you who know my daughter this is no surprise and a saying "Finally." She has been pretending to be a ballerina since she could walk; twirling and dancing every waking moment. We weren't allowed in but about every 5 minutes or so we would peek in the window. I think we enjoyed ourselves as much as she did.

Happy Anniversary!

So Randall and I celebrated our 6th anniversary this week and I can't believe it has flown by so quickly. I know that it might not seem like that long but it just seems like yesterday. We were married Tuesday, December 23, 2003 in Bountiful Utah. I was late to the Temple because of my hair appointment and Audrey (my sister) and I got lost and, oh yeah, the car ran out of gas. We were suppose to be there at 9:30 I think and by the time that rolled around every 30 seconds or so my phone would ring with either my dad or Randall asking "WHERE ARE YOU AT?" After about 5-6 times of this, I told Audrey "Just DON'T answer the phone until we get there." We were 30 minutes late and all was well after that. But the memories you accumulate after something is all over with and you swear you will never forget!

Christmas morning

Snow...AGAIN!

Would you believe that it snowed here again? I wouldn't have except that Randall's one Christmas wish is still sitting on my front lawn! Jenna was ecstatic. The kids had a blast "feeding the reindeer" carrots the night before Christmas. Unfortunately, we couldn't find all of the carrots until the snow melted and had a few lingering questions from Jenna about how come the reindeer's didn't eat all of the carrots.

Christmas Cookies

This year, albeit it took me a while, I decided to make Christmas cookies and deliver them to a few of our friends. The kids had a blast adding the ingredients and trying to put to candy on the cookies without eating more than distributing.

These were our family photo outtakes:

These were the real ones!

Snow...

We got our first snow this year, and the first time that I can remember. Too bad it didn't stick!

Talkin' Baby

Austin decided two weeks ago at a Barnes and Noble to start.....TALKING!!! He wanted to go up the escalator and said as clear as can be "Please!" "Please Mama" over and over again. Needless to say, we went up the escalator up to the kids books. Ever since then he has gone from "Mamma" and "Dadda" to about 20 words. Every day he says one or two more. By his birthday he will probably have caught up to the 200 word expectation of other 3 year olds. Randall could not be happier. His speech therapist said it would "just happen" and it has! I never believed 6 months ago that we would ever get here. We sure have been blessed with wonderful children that continually surprise and challenge us.

Push Ups

Austin likes to do "push ups" with daddy before bed
